Welcome to the YMCA Foundation of Middle Tennessee
We're glad you're here, and we recognize that you wouldn't be here unless you had an interest in the wonderful work that the YMCA of Middle Tennessee performs daily throughout the community.
A not-for-profit, charitable organization, the YMCA's heritage is rich -- dating back to 1875. Today, we reach the lives of more than 270,000 neighbors throughout Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky. With 30 centers and over 300 program locations serving a 12-county area, the YMCA helps people from all walks of life to grow in spirit, mind and body each and every day.
The YMCA Foundation was formed in 1969 for the purpose of holding and investing endowment funds for the YMCA, and for putting earnings on those funds back into YMCA programs, services and facilities. Over the past four decades, the Foundation has contributed over $1.8 million to various YMCA initiatives. The Foundation supports current YMCA programs such as USSAA, Restore Ministries, the International Program and many others, thus creating a legacy to ensure that the YMCA will continue to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities for generations to come.
We are also blessed with wonderful volunteer leadership on our YMCA Foundation Board of Directors. This group of outstanding leaders works to help the Foundation grow and increase its effectiveness.
Thank you for visiting the YMCA Foundation website. I hope that you will consider investing in the future of our community through the YMCA Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Also I encourage you to check out our upcoming Foundation events, including the Foundation Awareness Tours and our popular Wealth Management Seminar Series.
Sincerely,
