HONORING A SON

Walter Hale established a residential campership in honor of his son, Patrick. "The YMCA was always a big part of my son's life – not only growing up on the little league teams but even after college," Mr. Hale recalls.

Mr. Hale added that he couldn't think of a more fitting way to honor Patrick than to provide another child with a life-changing experience at Camp Widjiwagan.

"When I visited Camp Widjiwagan, I was so impressed with what was happening there and the positive influence the camp was having on so many young people," he says. "I know of nothing more important than investing in our youth and giving them the core qualities and values that will make a difference in their lives."

"The YMCA and its staff do this so well. I am glad to be able to help out in a small way, and I know Patrick would be pleased to be remembered in this manner". Walter Hale
